Obligatory Post-Weekend Post
I had a *fabulous* weekend! Two friends were over from the states and one down from Bury St. Edmunds staying at my flat (plus Dusty on Saturday night). The introvert in me was a little worried about the lack of time alone, but I'm only starting to get frazzled... and part of that is due to last night's activities.
Jimiane,

Jimiane, <a href-"http://www.yourpalbill.com/">Bill, Trevor, Dusty and I met up at Tower Hill to go on the Tower Bridge Experience. Trevor wasn't a fan but I thought the views were better than you'll see anywhere except the London Eye. And it's better for pictures than the London Eye because they have little "photo windows" so you don't have to shoot through dirty, fingerprinted glass. If it's a beautiful day (which it was yesterday AND today), I think it's worth the 4.50gbp.
After that, we went to the Tate Modern. If you live in or near London you must grab a few mates, go down to the Tate's Weather Project, lie down on the floor, and make shapes with your bodies while looking at your reflection on the ceiling. It's fun, it's free, and it's art. You can laugh about it, then brag to your friends about how sophisticated you were.
After Indian food on Brick Lane, Dusty, Jimiane, Trevor and I went out clubbing. We went to a fantastic little place in Brixton that played psychedelic trance. The music was incredible. The crowd was perfect (not too crowded, not too meat-markety). And having 3 friends there to enjoy it with made it a perfect night.
